Do you offer the Montréal Ghosts' activities for Halloween only?
We offer activities all year round for private groups. For individuals, the regular season is usually from May to November.
In what languages are your activities offered?
All our activities are available in English and in French (unilingual groups). You must select the language of your choice when you book.
Do the Montréal Ghosts' activities take place rain or shine? How should I dress?
All of our activities take place outside in Old Montréal and go rain or shine!
Wear simple, comfortable clothing in order to benefit the most from your experience. We suggest layering to allow for varying temperatures.
Where does the Ghost Walk end?
Our Ghost Walks, both from the regular season and the private activities, end in front or near Bonsecours market.
Are the activities appropriate for children?
We recommend our activities for children 12 years and older, due to certain subject matters addressed on the walk (torture, murder, prostitution in the New France era, etc.). If you have any doubt, please contact us.
Are reservations mandatory?
Reservations for the activities during the 2020 regular season are mandatory. Space is limited and our ghost walks sell out quickly. We advise that you reserve as soon as possible to guarantee your place, either by phone or directly online.

How can I buy tickets for the activities? What methods of payment are accepted?
For individual guests who wish to guarantee their reservation during our regular season, payment must be made by credit card (Visa or Mastercard) at the time of reservation.
You may also purchase tickets at out Ticket Office, either by credit card or cash, on the evening of the activity, anywhere from 1 hour up to 15 minutes prior to the activity (subject to availability).
We strongly recommend prior reservations to avoid the disappointment of the activity being full when you arrive to buy your ticket the evening of the activity.

Where does the Ghost Walk start? At what time should I arrive? Where do I pick up my ticket?
During our regular season if you have reserved your place with us, just present yourself at the Montréal Ghosts Ticket Office, situated in Old Montréal, anywhere from 1 hour to 15 minutes before the Walk. There you will be told the exact departure point, which is close to the Ticket Office.

What happens if I arrive late?
Unfortunately latecomers will not be able to join the Walk and we cannot exchange or reimburse the ticket.
Private groups that arrive late will have their Walk shortened as it must finish at the prearranged time.

Are there any stops during the Walks? How long does each Walk last?
There are several stops during the regular activities of Traditional Ghost Walk and Ghost Hunts where you will enjoy stories. On some of these stops, there is a possibility to sit. However there are no breaks. The usual duration of our activities is 90 minutes and it takes place entirely in Old Montréal.
Are there bathrooms available?
There are no bathrooms at our Ticket Office and no bathroom breaks during the Walks. We suggest that you plan accordingly.
Can I get a refund or exchange my ticket?
Tickets purchased for activities from the regular season are neither refundable nor exchangeable 23 hours or less before the event.
Private groups may cancel their reservation at no cost if it is more than 5 business days before the activity. Otherwise, we will invoice 50 % of the cost if notified within 2 to 5 business days in advance and 100 % of the cost if notified less than 2 business days in advance.

Can I take pictures or record the activity?
No, it is forbidden to record or take pictures of the activity.
Are the activities disabled-friendly?
The activities are not wheelchair-friendly, but they are wheelchair-accessible. Please contact us by phone for more details.
May I bring my pet along on the activity?
With the exception of service dogs (e.g. Mira), it is forbidden to bring pets to the activity. This is to ensure the safety of the participants and the smooth functioning of the activity.
